OTC
Productions had been writing software for the film industry since first
working on the films The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, The
Animatrix & the game Enter The Matrix. OTC was responsible for
setting up a 250 computer gigabit fibre network around Fox Studios
Sydney, that connected to the US offices in Venice & Alameda
California on a 100Mb Virtual Private Network (VPN).
OTC was
also responsible for managing all digital assets that were generated on
the films, from story boards and digital photos, to the massive loads
of dailies coming down the pipeline from vfx vendors in 7 countries.
To
manage all that information we wrote an extremely powerful Asset
Management System specifically for the films that could categorize and
manage all the data. The system used cutting edge technologies in all
areas from the servers to the software and was an essential part of the
films being made.
OTC had been in the technology industry for
over 10 years working mainly in the field of the Internet. With
extremely experienced and skilled programmers and system
administrators. The combination of experience in the Internet, Film and
